Regina in the pilot and in the finale. The cool mask has slipped.

The mask has finally fallen away indeed. I wonder what thoughts were in Emma’s head as she saw Regina like this.

Also, what kills me is the way Regina tries one last time to smile bravely at Henry, even as he stares at her in stoic silence. I hope this moment haunts that kid forever.
